The kind folks at Nothing in the Rulebook invited me to put pen to screen on the subject of advice to writers. There are a lot of these articles circulating and, in my opinion, many are far from helpful, giving those with less confidence in their work, perhaps because it’s at an early stage of development, a false sense that there is a right way and a wrong way of doing things. So, I ended up writing an anti-advice piece which is live online right now.
Things are falling into place for The Waves Burn Bright UK book tour in May with some readings, launch parties and even some festival appearances lined up. I’ll post the details on here as and when I’m given permission to do so. Keep them peeled.
