Not The Booker

I’m delighted that I’ve been included in the long list for The Guardian’s Not The Booker prize. The list will be whittled down to a short list of six by public vote. If you fancy helping me out (and I’d really appreciate it if you did) then follow these simple steps.

1. Follow this link to The Guardian before August 3rd.

2. Sign in (you might need to make an account, it takes a few seconds).

3. Go down to the comments section.

4. Nominate up to two books (they have to be from different publishers) and write a few words about why.

5. Done. Sit back and wait for my gratitude.

If you’re looking for a second book to nominate and aren’t sure, then I’d recommend Simon Sylvester’s The Visitors. It’s fantastic.
