My copy of the new Causeway / Cabhsair issue arrived in the post yesterday and very lovely it is too. Not only is my story Dead Seal Beach included, but I’ve made the cover and been mentioned in the editorial. Needless to say I’m very pleased by this. The new issue also contains haiku by Alan Spence and stories by Alan Gillespie and Helen Lynch. Definitely worth checking out.
I’ve been on a bit of a writing binge. In the last couple of days I’ve redrafted and finished two flash fiction pieces, a full length short story and done some more work on my novel-in-progress, Cauldera. It’s helped that the humidity here has eased a little so I can sit at my desk without melting into a puddle on the floor. I’ve also sent out five pieces to various journals and magazines, so fingers crossed.
